Who We Are

Our History

In 2021, our founder, Tim Richmond, was approached with an idea to write a joint resolution to protect Ohioans right to hunt. It was decided to model this bill directly after Indiana’s same bill, which passed with 79% of the states votes. After contacting multiple representatives and state senators, Tim found a sponsor. It’s currently in the Agricultural and Natural resources committee and ready to be put on the ballot to pass as a constitutional amendment. Tim was told funds would need to be raised in order to promote this.

Knowing this will be a statewide effort, Tim reached out to many across the state in to build a group of people to help. After discussions about wanting to do more to protect our rights, the group decided to expand their mission. 501c4 non profit status was achieved, and a board was created.

Our Plans

Current plans are to raise enough money to fund our effort to get our Right to Hunt, Fish, and Harvest Wildlife resolution on the ballot to pass as a constitutional amendment.

Ohio Constitutional Alliances Family Firearm Safety classes will be one of our next goals. This will be another fundraising endeavor as we will offer the classes free of charge in each of the 88 counties in Ohio Parents and their children can attend to learn all aspects of firearm safety. We will be working with experts and LEO’s who will help us perfect our classes.

We also aim to not only write more Constitution supporting legislation, but also assist with others that are introduced which benefits the Constitutional rights we already hold, but does not impede on them. Ohio Constitutional Alliance will also vet and eventually endorse constitutional candidates running for elected office in the State of Ohio.

Most importantly, we look forward to working with each of you in creating a better future for our children and grandchildren. Thank you for your support and God Bless!
